MY BIRTHDAY PHOTO'S AND ACTIVITIES

Well Its July 25^th the best day of the year and also my birth day, the two sad thing about it is that it’s the first Monday since the death of Amy Whinehouse who is a very talented artist regardless of what people have to say about her bad habits and its also the 10^th anniversary of those who lost there life in that fatal concord plane crash that claim the life of some many people. RIP to them all.

I woke up today give thanks to Jah for another day especially this one. I took along bath.  Had my protein shake before I hear my door bell going mad, only one person normally do that its my manager, so crack the window look down stairs to see who it was  if its him I am not home lol.  It was a taxi driver saying someone from TMD records send him to get me and its important, so I rang my manager to make sure he is not pulling a prank on me but his phone was off, so I get the cab who drove me to the Chinese massaging place, where the driver said to me don’t worry to pay its on account, so I get out the car went inside where this Chinese lady say to time ohh Yenza happy birthday so I reply thank you but my name is  Tenza...lol. She said come this way its all paid for so I went into this room with candles and essence burning where I get a nice massage and a acupuncher which I did enjoy, apart from seeing the needles , you know me I don’t like pain full stop.  After 45 mins of pampering I get dressed and went outside to see my good friend Denise waiting on me I said “bitchhhhhhhh” she laugh say I have nothing to do with it.  She lets go so we went to this place where I get nail and my feet down but I must say I did not enjoy the treatment when live fish eating away of my feet so, I stop half through, we then went to have lunch at this lovely vegetarian restaurant before we hit the high street in oxford circus where I get really nice goodies.

Any way I reach home at about 3:30pm to find a note through my door from the delivery man, I was gutted but when rang the number he said we are just around the corner we will back in a hour, so I was there going through all my gift that I have received, which include drinks (and I don’t drink alcohol) gift cards and to my surprised a M Audio box with pro tool 8, which I know I wont use cause I am a Logic and Apogee girl hehehehe.

The door be rang and rush down stair to see what the post man brings it was nice basket of roses from someone I don’t know who as it just said to Tenza, ohh well I was happy if its guy thank you and if its girl thank you and if its “Paul” thank you too.

At 7:30 pm I was picked and taken to dinner when Denise and the others to this nice and strange restaurant in Windsor “ turn out to be a Mediterranean restaurant” looking at the menu even though I was a food eater I did not know one dish on the menu a part from onion rings and everyone know Tenza loves Onion and garlic.  So I just order everything that says V as I know its vegetarian I ate and I ate and ate till I feel like someone could roll me down the hill like a ball.  After about two hours of eating I saw all the waiting staff and cooks coming out sing happy birthday I was embarrass with everyone in the restaurant joining and singing at the sametime but I was also very happy.  After just manage to squeeze deserts in, leaving the restaurant at about 11pm I have no energy to party so I ask to be take home while the others party after reach I just mange to squeeze out of my heels and hit the bed makeup still on and teeth not brushed ewweee !nasty! after all that onion and garlic. That’s my birthday

My favourite thing in the world food!

Once you say food, people can say Tenza with the same breath, I am a girl who love my food trust me, even through my eyes are bigger than my belly, lol when it come to food “nuh ramp wid me” (don’t play with me). Still I always tried to eat health and maintained a well balance diet, people always wonder what do I eat, if I am always talking about food some much, and still manage look like a skinny cow, lol well here is a break down of my six month diet which started back in April of this year 2011

Breakfast

This is the most important meal of the day for me, so I always try to grab it, before I hit the studio or after coming off the treadmill. So below are lists of things that make up my health breakfast and if you notice I use the word health.

Juices

Fresh squeezes orange or ocean spray cranberry juice ( I tends to find the other brands quit sweet and taste more like a drink in stead of a juice.).

Fresh Fruits

I am a very fussy eater even though I might have a massive crave food. So the fruits I normally have are, Granny smith apples, peach, pears, banana and plums.

Cereals. I used to eat a lot of cornflakes and frosti in the past, but now I have settled down a bit and gone for the healthier options.

Wheat-a-bix (the best way to have this is with Soya milk, a tiny bit of honey, then put it in the micro-wav for 1minute and 30 seconds, and trust me its works).

Musli another one of my favourite for breakfast, (I normally added, natural yoghurt, a touch of honey and fresh berries, then mix it all together)

Porridges: I love porridges, I could go on and on about how to make them but I will just list my favourites and you can goggle for your own recipes lol.

Cornmeal

Peanuts

Banana

Oats.

I don’t normally have a full breakfast purely because of time, and I am not really a fast cook lol, so sometimes the micro wave is my best friend lol ( only when am doing wheat-a-bix) lol. But anyway what I normally have are:

Grilled field mushroom, the big big ones, baked beans, grilled tomato (vine ripe because they are sweeter) and grilled vegetarian sausages.

Sometime I do my hardcore Jamaican food , fry plantain, fry fritters, bake beans and fried vegan cheese yummy but naughty...lol

Lunch

Lunch I love having lunch weather am at home or out and most time my lunch always consist of salads, of something to do with potatoes, in the past I tried to have just a protein shake, but all I did is just make me get really hungry by dinner time. Result in me eating again, then end up having a really late dinner. So I stick to salad and baked potatoes, so here are a few of my favourites.

1. Warm salad of apples, celery and walnuts on a bed of leaves with beetroot dressing, topped with toasted seeds

1. Double baked jacket potato with baked beans and vegetian cheese

1. Avocado, olives, cucumber, rocket and paneer cheese balsamic dressing

1. Mixed pepper bruschetta on brown bread with leaves and balsamic reduction

5. Warm pita bread and hummus (I just love chick peas and garlic hehe)

Dinner

I can’t really remember the lost time I missed dinner, honestly once you say dinnertime Tenza is the first one at the table lol. Below are some of dishes that I normal have at home so I cooked them all by myself with the help of a cookbook lol.


Roasted vegetables with pilau rice or herbed cous cous topped with toasted almonds
Roasted vegetable linguini served with mixed salad
Baked croquettes with spicy tomato sauce and quran sausages
Stuffed aubergine with marinated artichokes and olives
Vegetable stir-fried with tofu and baby sweet corn
Curried vegetable chunks with boiled brown rice
Curried Quorn with rice and peas
Curry chip peas and dunplins, sweet potatoes sometimes banana
Vegetable side dishes, because am a vegan with the above food, its not much to hold a girl like me.

Desserts 

every woman favourite time when it come to food, me love desserts done to earth. I mainly have berries, and sad to say but loads of fruit salad. But I am going to share with you one of my own creations .


Caramelised Banana with vanilla dairy free ice cream ( Yum meeeeeeee lol)


1 ripe banana split length wise


10g cinnamon


25g caster sugar


10g margerine


Method


Heat fry pan on the stove then add sugar, margarine and cinnamon dissolved all three together then add banana, put a table spoon of water to prevent it from burning then cooked for 3 minutes poor on to a plate then add ice-cream.

.DAY TWO IN SWEDEN

Today is The 28th of May my tour manager Killah Rich scerammmmm waked me up with a typical big bang on my room door! I was so mad, I hate been woken up like that, why can’t he be normal and just knock once... instead of been a typical frighten Friday, ok...I guest I would have missed my flight and day one because I would have over slept, so he as a point... “ Or have the whole breast as he would normally say, the few times he has every been right” but still KMT! He must have not hear what had happen to my last tour manager lol,. So I final manage to drag myself out of the bed, ( “YES”I slept a lone I don’t do GROUPIES or TOUR WARMERS, if you should dare to think it lol) i had a nice shower, got dress because today I have another show in another city call Stockholm, along with Ash Man and MC Kinglish from sound Killah sound.
 Stockholm is like 5 hours drive from the city that I was in and me been Tenza have the great idea about getting a better view of Sweden by travelling by car for the five hours. Any way , Lars how driver arrived and we all board the car at about 4pm local time, make a quick stop and at food store to grab some nibbles, as you all know I eat right around the clock like white fowl (boiler chicken). Then set off for Stockholm on the E20 highway. I start messed around with camera taking some photos while the others were just yapping away or whatever men do. Soon Tyga man di boss go on is phone as always. And Lars being Lars just drive with his mind on the road. So I started free style for a bit with Lars then Richard with his enough take camera and starting making videos, shortly after who decided to sleep.. Yep! Richard so what I do give him a dose of Tenza treatment for waking me with a loud noises. I took photo of put them up on face book while he is sleeping, make a video, even roll a fake splift with paper napkin put in his mouth and he did not even move, he had his shoes off, so I pour water in them lol, when we arrived at our first service stop, I wake him he jumped up like a modern day frog what what!!! I said to him can you get me some tea am not feeling well, he put his feet in shoes fill water everyone cracked up with laughter, he did not say much all he said under his breath dis dam likkle gal is a pess in mi life .....I just laugh no another word from him for the next 2 hours the poor soul must have felt a shame......I won the battle

Ok six hours later we arrived in Stockholm can’t find the address as kinglish decided to give us a address that leave us in the city centre, boi oh boi, I could kill him. 45 minutes later he arrived in benny bowy all in one tour bus. When I say all in one I mean all in one the bus even got a stove and recording studio. I guest they know I love my food so having a stove is not a bad idea.

We drove a short distance to my friend Sussie house where I get ready for the show, packed with so much confident from last night show I forget about nerves, plus I could hear Richard and Kinglish chatting as loud as you can imagin, in another room at one point I was thinking they don’t need monitors at the club with them two as they are as loud as a old steal horns.
Finally we leave for the club with “ in benny bowy all in one bus” we all have a good laugh on our way, and I must say the bus is quite clean and comfortable. Arrive at the venue there was a massive queue again, just like the night before, so I have to enter from around the back through KITCHEN!!!!!! Why the devil a tempt me. Anyway I sit back stage with Tyga man and the others while killah and kinglish went to do sound check, 10 minutes later I saw Richard coming back with this tall guy saying he need to speak to me, I said who is to my surprised it was NED HOT PANTS (Mike) my long fan for years. I could not help but leap towards him and give a hug we chat for a while then he went back to the club. Soon after killah told me outside his jam pack with people and he need security to take me through the crowed to the stage. So owner of the club Tyga man and two other bouncers escorted me through the crowd while heading to the stage I could hear benny bowy saying there is tons of people out side who cant get in, he have fight his way through the crowd. Eventually I made way on stage to a sounding applause, before I get straight into my performance before inviting Sicken Head on stage to join me for “Goose” and I am telling if you think Gutenberg people know the “Goose” well you are wrong Stockholm was even harder with me myself learning a few new Goose moves the party vibes carry on before I invite Tekla Soundz on stage and again another set of goose. Moves unleashed in Sweden, I carry on my performance as always with tracks such as “ Joe Grind” and No Behaviour. Departing from the stage about 430am local time feeling blessed and well loved by the Stockholm people. I headed back to Benny bowy studios to record a few hook before spending the next few hours at Sussie house.
I remember sitting back on a chair thinking I don’t know which venue was my favourite as I fall in love with Gutenberg and I love Stockholm, one thing can truly say these Swedish people makes great fans, great host and know the words to my songs lol… but I was a bit disappointed going to bed as this time I did not get no food before bed, HARD WORK AND NO FOOD MAKE TENZA DULL GIRL

Tenza Day One In Sweden

I can’t believe almost missed the flight for my tour, I was scheduled to leave the Uk, at 7:45am, so I set my alarm to wake me up at 5am, as I am only a short drive away from the airport. However as we all do sometimes I over slept by an hour. I heard a loud bang on my door and my door bell going off like crazy, I quickly check the time it was 6am, only to find out that my tour manager Richard was outside waiting for the 30min, to pick me up for the air port he was so madddddd at me.
I have taken the quickest shower in the history of people taking a shower. That’s simply means I have taken a show in less than 4 minutes. Anyway final manage to struggle into a pair jeans and top that was lying on the sofa, rush through the door where I manage to get my makeup and other bits done in the car to the airport. “ yes” for all you guys who are wondering if I put a knickers on before I leave the house, I did.

Finally we arrive at London Heathrow terminal five, the queue for checking was a lot more longer that my shower, I can tell you that much. My tour manager was in a panic, as our flight was due to depart in 45 minutes and we had only just arrived at the airport.
Eventually we got through with my smile and my woman charms I used it on a male assistant. Finally checked in and was rush to board the plane, I had gums in my mouth but my tooth brush in my handbag soon as I get on the plane I brush my teeth.

I went to bed on the plane as I was still tired, arrived in Sweden Gothenburg at around 9am local time the fresh Swedish breeze hit oh yes feeling so great and giving thanks to jah for the safe flight..
Got picked up by the big man Tyga Man and Barry we drove to the supermarket to as I am vegan I have to shop for food to my suit.
We then drove back to my place of stay, on my wait I saw posters flyer everywhere of me, this is my third time in Sweden but this was the best. I eventually arrived at my place of stay where I relaxed and have some lovely lunch cooked by Cookie my lovely friend.
I then went to have a nap whilst my tour team went out to fix staging and micro phone checks as first show was tonight.

Here comes the last hour of me getting ready for the club......i got call from my second mother who is also part of my management team Raheal who was at the club waiting for me and many other people, I got dressed in my Red Green and Yellow FB outfit, wait for my driver who arrived at 12 am. I drove to the club it was packed I got in through the back doors and to the vip section, where I meet Raheal and.....we was so happy to see each other we hugged and talked and laugh, this help to calm my nerves lol nobody knew I was nervous...lol Sitting back stage in the VIp Lounge was great, it was a completely different feelings from other shows that I have done in the past as normally I am either all by myself, surrounded by person who I don’t know or with my famer ban members who have the same nervousness as me, this time I have friends around me who are all excited to see me performed. Anyway to cut a long story short before I bored you all to death.. lol.

I was back stage chatting laughing and having a good time when one of the show organisers gave me micro phone in my hand, suddenly I heard my riddim was playing I just switch the microphone on and head for stage chanting one of my new track “Rastafari”. The moment I hit the stage all I could here was a massive and defying cheers, I can remember one guy gave me a drink which I rest on the dj table ( I think Richard drank it knowing him). I greeted the screaming GBG fans then get straight into my performance, I performed the track “ya make me wanna” which send the crowed into a frenzy, I then eased into “ Good Good” and couple other tracks before, I was joined on stage by one Fan who decided he wanted to dance with me I performed with “ Wicked Love and Pull Up” before other fans starting climbed onto the stage at that point I can recalled seeing one of the bouncers threw them off stage. Sooner after I performed “Goose” and to my surprised all I could see is necks going right, left and centre, I can remember the dj pulling the track up to screaming noised and a number of lighters flashing, what makes me laugh was when I see one guy holding up something resembling a old time Lantern Lamb lol lol.

I later invites some ladies on to the stage to do the”goose”, then performed “ More Love” and exit the stage, at that point all I could hear was more , more and some other word which I can’t spell or pronounce but I guest its means more or come back on stage lol lol, so I went back out to performed “ push and turn” “ Murder” and “ Know Mi” exit the stage for the second time and this time the chants for more is even louder and more defying.

Again I went back on stage to performed “waistline crazy”, “No Behaviour” and “Street Life” I make my exit from the stage performing my new single “dancing mood”.
When I get to the back stage the tour organisers was over the moon as they have host other artist at the venue before such as “ Jr. Kelly” “Morgan Heritage” “ Natty King” Among others, but according to him he have never seen anything like this. Of course I was happy but I was also relieved to get out of them dam 10 inches heels lol, I could hardly catch my breath before my tour manager came blasting back stage ya shell down it Bloo****lt place Tenza, then he starting going on ........ About some other promoters who want to book me for a tour in September, at that point I really stop listen all I wanted was some water to drink, a hot bath and a nice bed. After sitting back stage chatting for about 30 mins my tour manager came back in and said the car is ready outside but we can’t go through the front door as there is tons of people out there waiting to see me, we scrambled through a little side door, make our way to the car, where we leave for my accommodations, I had bath eat some food “ I don’t know where my tour manager get it” but I was hungry and it taste really good at 530am in the morning.

I remember brushing my teeth then sitting on the bed but the rest of the morning well I think you better ask the fairy God Mother lol .
End of day one I promise day two wont be this long lol....I love my fans world wide
